Case File 1179 - the death of Cornelia Johnston, Who needed a Hippopotamus
Evidence of the now diseased Ms. Johnston. - submitted by inspector LeStrawed.
"We found the body of the poor girl facedown in the lake, and it seemed to us as if, though she had died, there was no clear reason as to why. No obvious signs of a struggle, or any marks on the body. An autopsy showed that there was no reason her death should have occurred, except that maybe her heart had been beating rather quickly before the death took place, estimated at about 2:00 AM. According to our autopsy man, her heart had not been beating fast enough to kill her.
It is an event of supernatural bearing, and one we shall be calling in the Priest about. This is beyond me.
I am afraid.
Ms. Johnston's Most recent Journal entries, found near the lake after her death.
Phone transcripts of a call with her mother, her last call before she left to go out into the woods.
